We loved everything about this restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service was warm. We tried three quarters of the menus and there is nothing we wouldn't order again. Oysters, swimming scallops, Caesar salad, crudo, baked oysters with chili... everything was fresh, tasty, with lots of umami. Too bad we are just passing through the area. If you love fresh seafood, you should come eat here!

Wow. Just wow, beyond incredible! Probably the best meal that I’ve had in recent memory.. the Cesar salad- legit perfect. Creamy and tangy and the cheese melts in your mouth. Annnnd last but least the pork belly and scallop were so good we ordered seconds. Atmosphere nice and cozy. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is absolutely fantastic!! The food was WOW!! I wanted to try everything! We got there ten minutes after the place opened and it filled up quickly. It's a small boutique type restaurant and everyone there is very friendly and attentive. We had the oysters, the baked oysters with Parm and one with a Cajun kind of flavor - so good! We also had the pork belly, wontons and Crudo. I can't say enough how delicious everything was! Will definitely come back here on our next trip.

Fabulous place and food! We shared 24 oysters and they were delicious with a variety of sauces to accompany them. Surf and turf tacos were well balanced and they paired well with the corn salad. My husband had the burger and the gigantic ceasar salad no complaints at all.

Stunning quality and service. Chef Paul is a gem with superior passion and knowledge of east to West Coast shellfish & seafood. The crudo is one of the best I've ever tasted. It's an absolute pleasure sampling the ever changing menu as well as the oysters shucked with the upmost of love every time. Their local wine, beer, and cider choice is exceptional and chosen with intention. Always full always consistent and always lovely, GiGis oyster bar is a must visit for anyone coming through the Comox valley. Don't miss out on the daily specials!
